Oil-based Cleanser

Known as oil cleanser or cleansing balms, oil-based cleanser is a gentle, non-stripping solution to effectively remove makeup and sunscreen, sebum and skin’s impurities.

As oil and water repel each other by their different molecule sizes (oil is lighter and hence floats), oil-based cleanser separates oil and dirt and is formulated with some surfactants to effectively cleanse oil-based products plus skin’s sebum without stripping the skin’s natural oil. However, don’t be fooled by the category of “oil-based” and think that it only suits for the dry skin type. Oil-based cleanser is suitable and beneficial for all skin types!
