Plastic microbeads or in short “microplastics” are basically all types of tiny plastic particles that are smaller than 5mm. They are so small that we can’t see by our naked eyes. These microplastics ingredients are usually added to cosmetics and personal care products as emulsifiers, fillers that can as well exfoliate and cleanse the skin.
