Formulated with key ingredients like natural derived AHA as green plum water and sugarcane extract, 3% of Glycolic Acid (AHA), Rice Bran Water, Honey Extract and Panax Ginseng Root Extract, the toner provides a mild exfoliate solution for brighter and supple skin.

Kuorintahappo? AHA!

AHA-hapot (alfahydroksihapot, tai hedelmähapot) ovat yleisnimitys erilaisille luonnosta peräisin oleville hapoille, joiden tarkoitus on poistaa kuollutta ihosolukkoa. AHA on siis kuorintahappo. Tässä tuotteessa vaikuttavana tehoaineena on glykolihappo.

AHA-hapot kuorivat kuollutta ihosolukkoa ja ne kirkastavat ihoa. Selkeämpinä ja nopeimpina vaikutuksina on juurikin ihon kirkastaminen, mutta AHA-happoja voidaan käyttää myös pigmenttimuutoksien häivyttämiseen. Kuorimisesta on myös se hyöty, että täten muut ainesosat pääsevät vaikuttamaan paremmin ihoon. Ne toimivat kaikentyylisille ja -ikäisille ihoille, mutta erityisesti kuivalle ja ikääntyvälle iholle sen häivyttäessä pieniä juonteita ihossa. AHA-hapot ovatkin yleisesti käytettyjä aineita ns. anti-aging tuotteissa.

Tämän tuotteen AHA-happona on glykolihappo, ja se onkin yksi kosmetiikassa eniten tutkituista ja yleisimmin käytetyistä AHA-hapoista. Se aiheuttaa ärsytysreaktioita vain harvoin. Mutta kuten aina, käytä tuotetta vain suositellussa määrin, ja kokeile tuotetta ensin pienelle ihoalalle haitallisten sivuvaikutusten varalta.
